Step into the charm of a French café without leaving Boise! In this hands-on session, held right inside our partnering local café, you’ll learn the phrases and etiquette for ordering coffee, tea, and pastries in France. From greetings to confidently asking for that buttery croissant, you’ll master vocabulary and expressions you can use right away, and immediately put them into practice as you order from the real menu in a warm, authentic setting.

Boutique Shopping
Shopping in France isn’t just about what you buy, it’s about the experience. In this workshop, held inside a charming Boise boutique, you’ll learn the key vocabulary and polite expressions for browsing, trying on clothes, and asking for different sizes or colors. You’ll also discover cultural insights that make interactions with French shopkeepers smooth and enjoyable. Then, you’ll put your new skills to work right away as you explore the store, ask questions, and interact, en français, of course.

French wine
France is famous for its wine, and knowing how to order or talk about it in French can open up a whole new world of experiences. This workshop begins with a guided introduction to French wine vocabulary, from grape varieties to wine regions, and helpful tasting expressions. Then, a partnering wine shop will lead you through a short tasting, where you’ll practice describing flavors and placing an order.
